About The Position
Medieval Times is seeking high-energy, friendly individuals to join our Guest Services/Event Staff department. This role is crucial in contributing to the ultimate Medieval Times experience by ensuring that guests feel welcomed and assisted throughout their visit. The Event Staff will be responsible for greeting guests, answering their questions, and acting as ambassadors for the Medieval Times brand. This position requires a proactive approach to guest interaction and a commitment to providing exceptional service. In addition to guest interaction, the Event Staff will patrol and monitor both the interior and exterior of the facility to ensure the safety of team members, guests, and property. This includes recognizing and anticipating safety hazards and potentially volatile situations, addressing them as needed, and resolving any problems that may arise. The Event Staff will also enforce local laws and ordinances, as well as the rules and regulations of Medieval Times, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all. The role involves accompanying cashiers in the transportation of money between the Cash Control department and Retail departments, as well as calling the police or fire department in cases of emergency. Staff will inspect building environmental controls and other equipment to ensure they are turned off when not in use, and will also inspect stables to ensure the security of horses. On non-show days, the Event Staff will be responsible for recording any property and equipment issues and any visitors in the security log. Additional duties may be assigned as needed, making this a dynamic and engaging position.
