About The Position

Dover Motor Speedway is the heart of Speedway Motorsports’ nationwide network of eleven entertainment and racing venues. The company maintains a consistent focus on four core principles: Take care of teammates Be known for remarkable events Profitably improve Positively impact the community MAJOR FOCUS: Provide assistance at pickup/drop off locations for ADA transportation. ADA Transportation assists transporting guests with disabilities from designated pick up/drop off locations via golf carts around the Dover Motor Speedway property. .

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old
Must have a valid driver’s license and consent to a Motor Vehicle Record check
Must be able to attend pre-event training
Friendly, professional attitude, reliable, quick learner
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
A team player that works well with others
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions (heat, cold, rain or shine) and in various terrains
Must have the ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays as directed

Customer service experience preferred, but not necessary

Responsibilities

Provide superior customer service to all guests, particularly when transporting guests with accessibility needs.
Greet guests with a smile and work to create favorable memories for all guests.
Always be approachable, friendly and helpful when interacting with guests.
Be knowledgeable of all Speedway information, as well as other related partners.
Be an effective liaison for the Speedway and its guests.
Report all incidents and violations of Speedway policies to supervisor.
Respond to guest requests or concerns in a timely manner, defer to supervisor if necessary.
Adhere to the position’s proper uniform and conduct standards.
Other duties as assigned
Shifts range from 6-15 hours in length and are held rain or shine
