The Event Specialist will play a key role in supporting marketing and fundraising efforts by planning, coordinating, and executing fundraising and client service events for non-profit organizations focused on supporting veterans and families in need. We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal skills, likes to manage complex projects, and wants to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This position works under the general supervision of the Senior Manager of Communications and Events and will be responsible for securing new sponsors and income, planning and implementation of all internal and external events, developing relationships and expanding the Veterans Inc. donor community across New England. This individual would be based out of the 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01605 location but will be required to travel and plan events for other agency locations within New England. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Must be able to pass a CORI background records check. This is a full-time position with full benefits (health, dental, vision, 403B, paid time off, short/long term disability and life insurance, etc.).
