About The Position

To set up meeting rooms or conference rooms according to the clients’ specifications (may involve moving/lifting objects up to 50 lbs); assisting with posting of signs as needed; unlock doors for meeting rooms used during the evening and lock all rooms not being used, including entry/exit doors after clients and guest have left. Managing rooms periodically checking meeting rooms to ensure clients events is running smoothly; remove necessary AV equipment if AV Coordinator is unavailable. Front desk assistance is required from time to time to assist clients and other UNF staff in directions, faxing, postage, etc. Also responsible for reporting emergency maintenance problems to the appropriate department along with communicating to other staff any issues that needs following up on.

Requirements

  • Hours: PM and weekend shifts based on event schedule
  • This position requires a background check.
  • In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check.
  • The holder of this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under Title IX.
  • The holder of this position is designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).
  • All positions designated as CSAs are required to complete an online or in - person training session.
  • The holder of this position is responsible for any NCAA and Atlantic Sun Conference bylaws and guidelines that a member of the UNF Athletic Compliance Department provides in addition to all UNF regulations.
  • The individual must also assure that NCAA, Conference and UNF regulations are followed to the best of their knowledge and any violations thereof are reported to UNF Athletic Compliance.

Responsibilities
