About The Position

This position is an ideal fit for a experienced catering or event services professional that enjoys servicing groups and conferences, and creating extraordinary meeting and conference experiences. The Event Services Manager is the main point of contact between hotel clients that have a contracted conference, meeting, event, sports team block, or any block of rooms at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown. The Event Services Manager will arrange room reservation procedures, event logistics, catering menus, VIP requests, billing arrangements and all other services as required. The Event Services Manager will also be available as the on-site contact while the group is on-property and ensure that each group has a successful and memorable experience.

Requirements

  • Strong written & verbal communication and organization skills are required.
  • Proficiency in working with multiple computer systems is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, Delphi, and Delphi Diagrams is a plus.
  • Prior hospitality experience with full service brand hotels, especially with the Hilton brand is preferred.
