The Assistant with Special Event setups is responsible for performing the build/setup and removal of temporary structures, including the setup and breakdown of various size tents for campus activities. This role involves loading, transporting, and unloading materials and equipment for campus events, as well as providing setup and arrangement for equipment/materials per event specifications. The assistant will monitor storerooms to ensure order, cleanliness, and security, and will work across departments to ensure a collaborative and seamless process for event preparations. Additionally, the assistant will coordinate with pertinent personnel for equipment orders and ensure proper storage, while performing related duties as assigned to maintain department efficiency.
