This position is largely a customer service role with some specific security responsibilities. Roles and responsibilities determined by event. Basic Job Duties: Follow instructions provided by Event Security Supervisor at beginning of each shift. Stand post at gates and authorize entry/exit of racers, visitors, media, and invited guests. Verify ticket (may require stubbing or scanning) or credential prior to entry. Perform bag and/or car searches. Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to proactively preserve order and protect property. Ensure visitors, patrons, racers, media, and invited guests obey LVMS rules and policies. In the event of infractions of LVMS rules and policies, inform supervisor of the infraction and parties involved. Never apprehend or evict violators from premises without authorization from supervisor. Interact with customers to answer questions or instruct them of LVMS policies. Other duties as assigned.
