About The Position

The Security Event Staff personnel at Daytona International Speedway are responsible for providing a visible security presence during events and throughout the year. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of guests and employees, managing access to secure areas, and assisting with guest inquiries. The position requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to work in various outdoor conditions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in excess of 8 hours.
• Positive attitude!
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence to guests and employees.
• Lock and unlock doors and gates at appropriate times.
• Screen all persons entering ticketed and/or secure areas for valid credentials/tickets.
• Assist guests with questions regarding directions, information about the facility, parking, and disabled assistance.
• Monitor and manage access to various areas of the Speedway.
