About The Position

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. No experience necessary! If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years or older
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Valid Driver's License and Clean driving record.
Able to handle outdoor weather conditions.
High School or College Diploma/GED
Sora card or able to obtain
Ability to respond effectively during emergency or stressful situations.
Must have a flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs, with occasional running or sprinting.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills for handling customer-related situations.
Able to handle outdoor weather conditions.
Access Control

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in security is preferred but not mandatory
Customer Service experience is a plus.
