Global Elite Group, a leader in providing world-class security services, is hiring Event Security Officers for a high-profile professional conference in November. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking temporary Security Guard or Unarmed Security Guard work in an exciting, fast-paced environment while ensuring the safety, security, and overall experience of guests, staff, and participants. Event Details: Dates: Wed. Dec. 10, 2025- Mon. Requirements
- Must have a valid NYS Security Guard License at time of hire
- Prior security officer, event security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor, able to stay calm under pressure
- Must be at least 18 years old and pass all background screening requirements
- Must attend required training prior to the event
Nice To Haves
- Prior security officer, event security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred (not required)
Responsibilities
- Provide a strong security guard presence throughout event grounds, including entry points, hospitality areas, and restricted zones
- Perform access control and credential checks to ensure only authorized individuals enter secured areas
- Monitor crowd flow, assist guests with directions, and maintain a professional, safe environment
- Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies
- Collaborate with fellow security officers, event organizers, and local law enforcement
- Deliver excellent customer service while upholding high standards of security and professionalism
