About The Position

As a member of our Event Security Team, you will guard, patrol, and monitor the venue premises to keep guests, band members, team members, and vendors safe, and prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle guests with discretion are essential. This is a seasonal, part-time, event-based position that will begin April/May 2025 and end September/October 2025.

Requirements

• New York State Security Guard License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of verifiable experience with customer service and security.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with superior hospitality and customer service.
• Conduct bag searches and operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Serve as checkpoint personnel and verify staff/guest credentials in restricted areas.
• Ensure and check wristbands as guests enter/exit applicable areas.
• Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order, and protect the venue property.
• Listen to customer concerns and act or react accordingly.
• Communicate effectively via radio transmission.
• Respond to safety & security calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor assigned work area to assist in keeping the venue safe, clean, and presentable.
• Adhere to the dress code and present yourself in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Benefits

• Compensation of $18/hour.
