About The Position

WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will drive business growth by building relationships with local businesses and securing corporate event bookings. You’ll actively prospect and connect with companies, meet with decision-makers, and present our event offerings as tailored solutions for team building, client entertainment, and company gatherings. This role is focused on generating new business, managing your territory, and delivering a seamless experience from initial outreach to confirmed booking while consistently working toward and exceeding sales goals. Strong communication, negotiation skills, and experience in event planning are essential. Requirements

  • A proactive self-starter who can generate new business through door-to-door networking, cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Someone comfortable conducting in-person client meetings and delivering presentations
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to maintain and grow customer accounts
  • The ability to identify customer needs and recommend effective solutions
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Advanced calendar management & attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team player who can work cross-functionally to support client success
  • Awareness of market trends and the ability to adapt sales strategies accordingly
  • Willingness to attend trade shows, events, and networking opportunities
  • Strong follow-up skills and consistent communication habits
  • Ability to manage territory and develop strategic sales plans
  • Naturally upbeat, people-focused, and unshakably positive
  • Passion for sales, service and coaching others to succeed
  • Cool under pressure, ready to adapt, and thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Has completed all necessary training in their current position

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies to attract and retain clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Event Promotion: Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote events.
  • Market Research: Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategies.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive Event Sales.
  • Budget Management: Oversee event budgets (when applicable) and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales performance and marketing metrics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with event bookers, marketing, and site-location management.
  • Customer Service: Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Networking: Attend industry events to build connections and enhance brand visibility
  • Follows Company guidelines for managing confidential information and guest satisfaction.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Operate in a cubicle/office & legally operate a motor vehicle.
  • Other duties may be assigned by Event Manager, and or Big Al’s Director’s Team.
