About The Position

The Event Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Northland Church is responsible for managing the event rental processes, developing sales and marketing strategies, and ensuring exceptional service for clients. Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in event management, sales and marketing or a related field.
• High School Diploma and college degree.
• Proficient use of computers, with experience in office applications.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience with building automation systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end event rental process for external clients, including inquiries, contracts, payments, logistics, setup and teardown.
• Act as the main point of contact for event inquiry walkthroughs, coordinating schedules with other team members.
• Coordinate ticketing and registration needs for internal events.
• Participate in all major rental events, providing support for day-of operations alongside the Event Operations Manager.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for events, enhancing advertising efforts and creating information packages for potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and ensure exceptional service.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends within the event industry.
• Design and execute promotional campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
• Work closely with the Event Operations team to ensure a cohesive approach to event planning and execution.
• Manage the linen closet, usage of linen, laundry and billing.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
