About The Position

The AMS Marketing Executive position pays a base wage of $19.90 per hour with production pay. The annual pay range (base wages + production pay) is reasonably expected to be between $21,000 and $76,600. This position is part-time, requiring 3-4 days of work per week, with availability to attend events throughout Sacramento County. Schedules vary depending on events, and afternoon/night and weekend availability is needed. As an Event Marketing Agent, you will work with guests at various off-property locations such as sporting events, concerts, malls, fairs, and trade shows to promote the Hyatt Vacation Club® Program. You will offer guests financial incentives in exchange for learning about our points-based ownership product.

Requirements

• Highly motivated with sales or customer service experience.
• Enjoy interacting with guests either in person or by phone.
• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Telemarketing and/or sales experience preferred.
• Position may require background and drug screening, in accordance with state and local requirements.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

Responsibilities

• Schedule sales presentations or offer specially priced vacation packages to guests attending an event and at off-site locations such as shopping malls and airports.
• Provide the highest level of service to exceed budgeted sales presentations and volume production goals.
• Ensure that all guests who attend a sales presentation or purchase a vacation package meet eligibility requirements and are open to learning more about products and services.
• Greet guests; anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.
• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.
