About The Position

EndeavorB2B is looking for an Event Sales Account Executive to join our team. The Event Sales Executive is charged with prospecting for and securing event sales for exhibition space and sponsorships. You are a consultative sales professional, who can fully grasp a client’s marketing objectives, expertly suggest ways to meet those objectives, and close the sale.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years Successful B2B Event Sales Experience
  • Proven sales prospecting, presentation and closing skills with the flexibility to understand client marketing objectives and recommend appropriate exhibit and sponsorships to meet those objectives.
  • Knowledge / Skill / Ability requires excellent technical skills for key systems that drive the business, including Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM, and competitive market tools.
  • Equivalent Education / Experience in business, marketing, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • LinkedIn Navigator experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves sales target revenue for exhibition and sponsorship sales for designated EndeavorB2B Events.
  • Effectively uses sales tools like a CRM, A2Z, and MapYourShow to prospect effectively and provide sales pipeline data for forecasting and sales management activities
  • Meets monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for your events
  • Consistently prospects for new accounts/business to grow sales in your territory
  • Networks effectively within the industry at industry meetings, tradeshows, in one-on-one meetings, and through social media to establish yourself as a consultative expert that can be counted on to accomplish your customer’s marketing objective
  • Studies and understands all facets of the exhibition and sponsorship products and services being offered and engages potential clients through marketing driven leads, cold calls, existing relationships, tradeshows, and analyzing other industry events
  • Explains the benefits of an event’s audience and how they can be reached through exhibit and sponsorship activities.
  • Details pricing and negotiates exhibit and sponsorship packages designed to meet the customers' goals.
  • Facilitates successful sales execution by collecting client information and order information to process orders.
  • Adds prospective client information and sales activity notes to client records for each client call
  • Travel to see clients, attend trade shows, or participate in industry events or training. Meets clients.
