About The Position
Event Cocktail Server (On-Call / Event) | Be available for upcoming, exciting events: Chef Takeover, Live Concert Nights, Pool Parties & a DJ Searching for High-Energy Cocktail Server who loves people, knows how to read a room, and keeps things moving with a smile. Quick on your feet, great with guests, and bring good vibes! Pay Rate $7.00 Hourly Rate + Tips (AVG Tip Rate: $15.09) | On-Call Temporary-To assist with our exciting events at Choctaw Landing! Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for providing drink service in the outlet/bar while ensuring guests are served and ensuring all procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. You will report to the Beverage Shift Manager.
Requirements
- Have great personable & engaging hospitality experience
- Move Fast, Stay Organized, and keep your cool under pressure
- Are Guest-Focused & have a Positive presence
- Able to handle loud music, large crowds, and eventful nights
- Can obtain/maintain ABLE Certification
- Read write and understand simple instructions
- 1-3 months of equivalent combination of education and experience
- Requires basic math skills
Responsibilities
- Delivering Cocktails, beer, and wine during high-energy events
- Ensure Fun, exciting vibes while keeping the floor moving
- Work closely with Bartenders and Event Staff
- Creating unforgettable guest experiences in a positive environment
- Greet guests and explain all special promotions.
- Take orders, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested; requires memorization of all available drinks.
- Input orders into point-of-sale system to inform bartender an order was placed.
- Replenish beverages as requested, frequently checking back with Guest to inquire about satisfaction.
- Deliver beverage to patrons while ensuring payment.
- Check and maintain proper setup and cleanliness of service station before, during and after shift.
- Maintain cleanliness of Guest areas including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtray.
- Confirm age compliance by checking the identification of any individual ordering alcoholic beverages.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned
