Event/Proximity Marketer
About The Position
We are looking for a motivated, energetic Event/Proximity Marketers to join our events marketing team. Events/Proximity teams will promote our services at local events as well as home shows and will canvass neighborhoods in our territory as a unified team of representatives. They work together and support one another as they strive to meet both shared and individual goals and set qualified appointments for our in-home Sales Consultants. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, working indoors/outdoors, and representing a growing brand in local communities and at local events.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in field and in event environments
- Basic technology experience; mobile devices, tablets, industry specific software
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in events/field marketing, canvassing, or promotions is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Schedule Qualified Roofing Inspection Appointments
- Initiate friendly conversations with community members and provide detailed information and or suggestions.
- Track interactions, gather leads, and report activity using mobile devices
- Provide accurate, honest representation of the brand with a focus on professionalism
- Attend team briefings and regularly update the team on outreach performance
- Attend Home Show and other Events in the local area
- Follow company guidelines regarding privacy, data collection, and customer interaction
