The Event Project Manager at Special Event Flooring Technology LLC is responsible for overseeing the technical execution of events, ensuring successful and profitable outcomes by managing project timelines, client communications, and coordination with various teams. This role involves direct interaction with clients and vendors, as well as leading the event setup and takedown processes.

  • Communicate with sales, administration, transportation, and operations teams to manage project needs and address issues.
  • Coordinate and communicate project progress through to event setup and assist with takedown and storage as assigned.
  • Prepare and communicate technical production and labor schedules, sub-rental requirements, and project scope to team members and vendors.
  • Attend client meetings and maintain organized event files while responding to client concerns and questions.
  • Review sales documents to ensure equipment and technical positions meet client needs.
  • Place service orders based on client requests, including electric, AV, and rigging.
  • Set up and save data to create necessary onsite information and obtain client approval.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team for approval of supplier invoices for event management requirements.
  • Communicate event execution plans and on-site changes to crew leads and ensure successful event execution.
  • Mentor team members on event execution and best practices to improve local knowledge and experience.
  • Process post-event items, including review of timesheets and timely processing of invoices.
  • Bachelor's Degree or PMP/Project Management certification.
  • 2-5 years of experience in trade show, event industry, or construction management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines for multiple projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,500 per year.
