The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Seattle-based Event Planning Development Coordinator to provide support and lead event planning for our Alaska team and events. Based out of Seattle, the Development Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating fundraising events in Alaska, including the Anchorage Heart Run and Walk, Anchorage Go Red for Women event, Fairbanks Heart Walk, and Fairbanks Go Red for Women event, along with various smaller ancillary events throughout the year. The position also provides data management and operations support to the Alaska-based Development Team. The Development Coordinator should live in the greater Seattle metropolitan area near a major airport. The Development Coordinator may work from their home office in the Seattle area and/or work from the American Heart Association's Seattle office.
