About The Position

Neighborhood Event Planner & Party Host The Neighborhood Event Planner goal is to facilitate and promote a true sense of community among our community residents. The primary responsibility of this role is to plan and execute thoughtful programming and events that foster a vibrant and inclusive environment. The Neighborhood Event Planner will be responsible for organizing weekly neighborhood meet-ups, personally inviting new move-ins to gatherings, establishing social clubs, and identifying common ground interests to engage the diverse and ever-changing renter population. Additionally, the Neighborhood Event Planner will assist with staffing the neighborhood cafe and provide concierge services as delegated by the cafe concierge manager. The Neighborhood Event Planner should possess exceptional organizational skills, a warm and welcoming demeanor, and a commitment to building a strong community. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive event plan 90 days out, to create a true sense of community in the Upper East Side residential neighborhood.
  • Plan and execute weekly neighborhood meet-ups, ensuring a diverse range of activities that cater to different interests and age groups.
  • Personally reach out to new move-ins, extend warm invitations to neighborhood gatherings, and provide them with information about community events and amenities.
  • Establish and promote social clubs/gatherings within the neighborhood to facilitate connections and foster a sense of belonging among residents.
  • Identify common ground interests and create targeted programming to engage the diverse renter population.
  • Collaborate with the cafe concierge manager to ensure seamless staffing of the cafe and assist with concierge duties as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of event details, attendance, and feedback to evaluate the success and return on investment (ROI) of each event.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages resident participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to align event programming with the overall objectives and vision for the Upper East Side residential neighborhood.
  • Event storage areas must be organized and cleaned weekly. Audited quarterly for inventory and condition review.
