Whether you're leading a crew, welcoming guests, or keeping things moving outside, you’ll play a key role in creating a smooth, safe, and positive experience for everyone who visits. As our Event Parking Flagger , you will help create a safe and welcoming experience by directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic across campus, parking lots, and garages. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth traffic flow and guest safety during events. IMPORTANT DATES: Interviews for this position will be conducted on January 21, 2026 . If you are selected to move on to the interview stage, further details will be provided via email. Selected candidates post-interview will be expected to commence their new role on February 4, 2026 . DAY-TO-DAY: Assist in setup of equipment in their area Report to lead and safely communicate vehicle traffic and pedestrian crossings Assist guests and staff with directions to garages and parking locations in a friendly and professional manner Safely and efficiently direct traffic and pedestrians Manage lot capacity and report to supervisors throughout the event Handle load-in and load - out for events and loading dock flagging

Requirements

  • Are at least 18 years of age or older
  • Have the ability to work a flexible, event-based schedule, including nights, weekends, and sometimes holidays
  • Are able to understand and communicate conversational English; including following verbal and written direction
  • Demonstrate effective and professional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Can be on your feet and moving around the venue and Rose Quarter campus for several hours at a time
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team with people of different backgrounds and abilities

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • At least one year of similar work experience
