About The Position

HYROX is a global sports event series that combines running and functional fitness training in a unique race format. Founded in Germany in 2017, HYROX has evolved into a worldwide fitness movement with events across five continents, attracting tens of thousands of athletes every season. As we continue to grow across North America, we are looking for an Event Operations Coordinator to support the delivery of our live events and assist our Operations Managers across all phases of event execution. This is an ideal role for someone with hands-on event experience who enjoys being on the ground, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to grow within large-scale event operations. As our Coordinator, you play a key supporting part within the Operations team, working closely with the Operations Managers to ensure HYROX events are delivered smoothly, safely, and consistently. This is primarily an on-site position that requires flexibility to travel across North America, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays—supporting approximately 17 events in 2026.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in event production, operations, or logistics, preferably for large-scale events.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under high pressure.
  • Communication: Clear and confident communication skills for interacting with on-site teams and vendors.
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Google Drive; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
  • Mindset: A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility: Valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel extensively and work non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

  • On-Site Operations Support: Support Operations Managers during event build-up, live days, and breakdown while coordinating load-in/out schedules.
  • Infrastructure Management: Help oversee event setup and the placement of infrastructure like stages and booths according to venue maps.
  • Pre-Event Coordination: Assist with logistics planning, vendor coordination, and the preparation of operational checklists.
  • Post-Event Wrap-Up: Coordinate the return of equipment, collect feedback from on-site teams, and support post-event reporting and inventory checks.
  • Inventory & Equipment: Track inventory on event trucks and ensure equipment is organized and ready between seasons.
  • Health & Safety: Support on-site health and safety procedures and follow established incident reporting guidelines.
  • Team Assistance: Help with freelance staff onboarding and ensure smooth communication between production and operations.
