The Event Marketing Intern position is a part of our Roblox 12-week summer internship program located in San Mateo, CA. As an event Marketing Intern, you will partner with the Marketing team on managing live demos and breakout sessions at our annual developer conference. You will also support the Roblox Coding Camp for Kids in collaboration with a STEM education partner. You will report to the Director of Events Marketing.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate/graduate degree in Marketing or a related field. Internship eligibility is dependent on students returning to school for at least one semester after the internship.
  • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills and strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Experience in working in events, tech event experience preferred.
  • Excitement to build and foster relationships and networks.

Responsibilities

  • Create an end-to-end execution plan for proposed strategies and programs, creating and implementing timelines.
  • Develop a project from concept to realization while taking input from important collaborators.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments on ongoing projects and campaigns that inspire meaningful connections.
  • Collaborate with external partners to create immersive experiences
  • Measure the success and report back on the return of efforts.
