We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of events in the Reserve ecosystem. The primary focus of the role will be the organization of Monetarium, Reserve’s annual gathering. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across various teams, vendors, and stakeholders. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a passion for delivering high-quality experiences. Travel is required for this role.

  • Work directly with the Chief of Staff and President to set event vision and strategy.
  • Drive exceptional project management standards for events as the day-to-day project lead, including ownership of timelines, contingency plans, and various deliverables.
  • Lead end-to-end planning and production of the annual Monetarium conference and ongoing Monetarium Dialog Speaker Series.
  • Venue sourcing and contracting, including negotiation.
  • Budget development.
  • Program design, speaker coordination, and content curation.
  • Attendee outreach, registration, and hospitality logistics.
  • Coordinate marketing and branding execution with internal teams.
  • Draft external communications and event-related materials.
  • Manage daily correspondence with attendees and be responsive to inquiries, concerns, and logistical questions.
  • Develop post-event engagement strategies to turn attendance into deeper participation in Reserve’s ecosystem.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3+ years experience in event production.
  • Proven track record managing conferences of 150+ attendees.
  • Strong understanding of the crypto and/or fintech ecosystem is essential.
  • Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve issues.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an attitude of 'no job is too small'.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, including vendor negotiation and stakeholder alignment.
  • Proficiency with tools like Airtable, Notion, Google Workspace, and event platforms (e.g., Luma, Blocklive).
  • Willingness to travel up to 5 times per year for event execution.
