About The Position

EVENT MANAGER – MAX HOSPITALITY Join the Max Hospitality team! Max Hospitality is on the lookout for a highly organized, detail-driven full-time Event Manager with a passion for leadership, logistics, and hospitality. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in event management or coordination
  • Previous supervisory or lead role in a hospitality setting
  • Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Proven success in team leadership and service execution
  • Personal integrity, credibility, and a guest-first mindset
  • Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
  • Must have reliable transportation between Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA for off-site events

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with BEO's, TripleSeat system is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage front-of-house service for events to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Maintain constant communication with staff pre-, during, and post-events via phone or text
  • Train and coach service team to uphold Max Hospitality standards
  • Handle leads from emails, calls and respond within 24 hours to requests
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout service
  • Pre-meal meeting with staff so they understand the event details and assign stations to staff
  • Track and manage BEO's, making changes as needed, keeping open communication with the Chef
  • Assist with procurement of items and work with clients preferred vendors if applicable
  • Partner with Sales and Culinary teams to execute flawless events
  • Enforce and support company policies and procedures, reporting any escalated issues to leadership or HR
  • Uphold professionalism, integrity, and leadership standards across all events
  • Promote continuous improvement through formal/informal cost discussions and operational feedback
