About The Position

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Event Lead Manager to drive local events that boost traffic, engagement, and sales across our retail stores. This role partners closely with store managers, district leaders, AT&T, and vendor partners to plan, schedule, and execute community events that deliver measurable results.

Requirements

  • Telecom or retail industry experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to juggle multiple events at once.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with vendors, store leaders, and community partners.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to retail locations and events, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with store managers and market leaders to source high-impact local opportunities (Signature table days, festivals, school events, sporting events, community fairs).
  • Build and manage a consistent calendar of events, targeting 2 events per store per week.
  • Handle booking logistics, including approvals, permits, and vendor commitments.
  • Organize all event logistics: staffing, branded displays, promotional materials, and customer engagement activities.
  • Coach store teams on event preparation and best practices.
  • Provide on-site support to ensure smooth execution, compliance with brand guidelines, and a standout customer experience.
  • Serve as primary contact with AT&T and vendor reps to secure sponsorships, co-op funding, and promotional support.
  • Ensure compliance with vendor requirements while aligning with company goals.
  • Strengthen vendor relationships to maximize event support and co-marketing opportunities.
  • Track event performance against KPIs: event count, incremental opportunities, PPVGA, and Fiber activations.
  • Deliver reporting and insights to leadership and vendor partners.
  • Partner with retail operations and district leaders to align events with sales and staffing needs.
  • Work with marketing to promote events through digital, grassroots, and local outreach.
  • Provide toolkits, checklists, and resources to store teams for successful execution.
