Pay: $44100 - $63900 / year (paid hourly) Schedule: M - F; 7am - 4pm (w/ flexibility for events) Location: Research Triangle Park | Raleigh, NC Position Summary Provide comprehensive event support and facility maintenance services to ensure safe, functional, and well-maintained facilities while delivering exceptional client experiences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0-2 years of facilities, maintenance, or related experience
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Proficient use of hand tools, cordless drills, and material handling equipment
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to read technical drawings and floor plans
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Effective time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities
  • Professional, confident, and energetic demeanor
  • This position requires physical capability to lift, move, and manipulate furniture and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of facility operations and client service.
  • Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process.
  • This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down events by moving tables, chairs, and equipment according to specifications
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, diagrams, and floor plans to ensure accurate event configurations
  • Coordinate with event planners and clients to meet specific requirements and timelines
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety assessments to maintain secure, well-maintained facilities
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance including basic carpentry, painting, flooring repairs, and equipment servicing
  • Replace ceiling tiles, door hardware, window treatments, and other building components as needed
  • Respond promptly to work orders and client maintenance requests
  • Relocate office furniture, machinery, and equipment as requested by tenants and management
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, property management agents, and vendor partners
  • Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within established timeframes
