About The Position

Reporting to the Event Logistics Manager, the Event Logistics Coordinator supports the administration, customer support, and reporting of global events. The Events Logistics Coordinator provides deep insight into our event structure and data to shed light on best practices while delivering high performing events. This individual manages the event software system (currently CVENT) to launch event registration websites, manage registration accounting, deliver attendance reports and more.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in event planning for both virtual and in person events
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Experience with design software, ie Canva, and basic graphic design skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Strong attention to detail and decisive learner
  • Customer-service orientation with a knack for problem-solving
  • Familiarity with process and workflows
  • Team player with leadership skills
  • Experience in dealing with sponsors and entitlements
  • Experience/Success in building marketing mix of promotional activities with aligned/forecasted performance metrics to meet target registration& attendance goals
  • Excel proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Support event software, CVENT, for all global events.
  • Set up event registration websites for easy customer use and seamless registration process.
  • Monitor registrations for the BNI Global Convention and other global events as necessary.
  • Deliver reports on attendee data to identify trends, inform pricing decisions, inform revenue goals and metrics, and best practices for encouraging registrations.
  • Manage the Events support inbox to field inquiries from customers related to registration status, visa letters, and event logistics.
  • Design elements for registration websites and event promotional materials.
  • Demonstrate solid communication skills and a customer service orientation
  • MS office (word, excel, Power point Presentation) maintain Spread sheets for data analysis.
  • Assisting the broader Events team on event execution needs.
  • Any additional duties needed to help demonstrate our core values, drive our vision, and fulfill our mission.
