About The Position

The Event Lead position is responsible for providing hospitable service for clients and exhibiting high standards to all guests and staff. This includes constant communication with the Event Coordinator, completing tasks surrounding private events, and giving guests the best Big Grove has to offer. Must be willing to work unique hours and bring in a positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment.

• Up to 1 year of related event management experience
• 2-5 years of experience working in the service industry

Responsibilities

• Prepare the event space for smooth execution of events.
• Conduct pre-shifts to all departments to ensure everyone is on the same page.
• Attend weekly event meetings to go over upcoming events and assign tasks. Work independently and as a team to achieve these tasks.
• Communicate and coordinate events with the full taproom team.
• Understand event pricing and clients needs, preferences and vision for their event.
• Address unexpected challenges professionally- must be able to problem solve.
• Close out events efficiently and accurately.
• Must be able to see the big picture and strategically align events with overarching goals.
