THE ROLE The Events Truck Driver is a full-time employee supporting the Events Team in transporting merchandise to and from client events throughout the United States 20 – 30 weeks throughout the year. The Events Driver is a Class A CDL license holder with experience operating diesel-powered tractor-trailers combination/pick-up trucks, gooseneck trailers combination/pick-up trucks, tag trailer combination and others. The Events Truck Driver will have a tremendous amount of interaction and personal involvement with leadership and staff and must always represent Legends Global Merchandise in a professional, gracious, and knowledgeable manner.

Requirements

• Valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License, required
• Ability to drive out of state 20 – 30 weeks throughout the year. The length of stay will depend on the distance of travel and duration of the event.
• Organized, self-motivated, team player who can work independently as well as within a group
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Drives and parks semi-tractor/trailer, equipment and other designated vehicle to events as scheduled
• Maintains driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Inspects vehicles for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating their condition.
• Ensures proper care, use, and organization of all equipment prior to, during, and after the event.
• Maintenance, cleaning, and detailing of company vehicles.
• Skilled to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Assists with loading and unloading, desired (negotiable)
• Adheres to Legends’ policies and procedures associated with the event personnel
• Other duties may be assigned.
