About The Position

RNA Facilities Management has been providing high-quality janitorial services, facility maintenance & engineering, school bus transportation, snow & ice removal, painting, and landscaping services since 1991. As a member of the U.S. Green Building Association, RNA takes a holistic approach to cleaning and maintaining facilities. We have been redefining what it means to be clean with our ‘RNA Quality Standard.’ This unique approach combines efficient and effective cleaning methods that we have honed over three decades, always striving to surpass our client’s expectations. We are looking to hire a hard-working custodian to assist with Events. You will ensure the buildings are tidy, clean, and well-maintained.

Requirements

• Previous events set up experience, preferred
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. – We Use E-Verify
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• Able to work independently or with a team.
• Proficient with handling basic maintenance repairs.
• Outstanding organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down chairs and tables for events.
• Place tablecloths on event tables.
• Set up and take down room divider as needed.
• Facilitate proper organization and cleanliness of venue.
• Uphold any necessary safety precautions.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and polish fixtures and furniture.
• Dusting all surfaces.
• Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles.
• Performing minor repairs.
• Keeping buildings free from indoor pests.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment.
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Ensuring equipment and lights are switched off, and premises are locked after hours.
