About The Position

Event Coordinator serves as liaison between event organizers, guests, facility staff, service providers and other stakeholders. Event Coordinators may work alongside Venue Director or in the absence of Venue Director. This is a part-time, as needed, position with no minimum number of hours guaranteed. Work schedules are determined by event activity on an as needed basis. This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.00 to $22.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until April 10, 2026. About the Venue Saint Louis Music Park is a 4,500-seat outdoor venue that hosts concerts, festivals, corporate events, and more. Performers have included Alicia Keys, Machine Gun Kelly, The Avett Brothers, 5 Seconds of Summer, Jack White, BUSH, Benson Boone and many more. It offers an intimate outdoor amphitheater experience and boasts a fan-centric pavilion featuring food trucks, picnic tables, yard games, and more. Centene Community Ice Center is a state-of-the-art facility designed for hockey programming that is curated for all ages and skill levels. It houses three sheets of ice year-round and also features an outdoor rink for use in winter months. It is the official practice facility for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL) and serves as the home rink for Lindenwood University (NCAA DI). Alongside hockey development programs, the facility also offers freestyle skating and daily public skate sessions providing a unique experience for locals to get on the ice.

Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended (long) workdays and extended numbers of days
Minimum of one (1) year experience in Event Coordination (preferably with a convention center, hotel, sports facility, performing arts facility or other multi purpose public assembly facility) or Meeting Planning
Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Communicate in person with event organizers on event days and monitor event activity.
Serve as a facility representative at events; enforce facility policies and procedures throughout each event; identify and resolve event challenges; resolve public complaints.
Advance and facilitate Touring VIP Programs
Take reasonable steps to ensure a high level of customer service is being provided by facility staff
Monitor the work of facility staff to ensure event needs are being met and the Center is being maintained.
Identify any safety concerns and work with appropriate staff to resolve them.
Liaise with public safety officials in the event medical, fire or police personnel respond to the Center as needed
Answer questions and provide information to facility customers
Facilitate pre-event and post-event walk through to assess facility condition
Perform other duties as required
