All employees of the Springfield JCC are responsible for creating relationships with the members, to add value to their membership, and to enhance their sense of belonging with the JCC community. We are currently seeking various Event Coordinators to join our Wellness & Recreation team! An Event Coordinator is an enthusiastic, creative and reliable JCC representative that assists with events such as birthday parties. The individual will help coordinate and assist with creating and executing fun and memorable events. The role involves managing event logistics, overseeing party activities, and ensuring that guests have an amazing and safe experience. This is a per diem position that would be booked in advance for events for either Saturdays or Sundays during our hours of operation (7a-5p). Each event is two (2) hours in duration, however the coordinator is paid for a total of four (4) hours for each event to include setup and breakdown. Events may include but are not limited to themes such as sports, arts & crafts, or aquatics. Coordinators are not expected to swim with the guests but be present and involved in the activities on the pool deck. Certified JCC Lifeguard will be on duty. Events could take place in our facility or outside on our sports fields. Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00
