PIM Brands, Inc. is seeking bright, eager interns for our Government Affairs Department. We are looking for a Event Coordinator & Policy Researcher Intern interested in starting a career at our Washington D.C. location. Overview: Help plan and execute our annual PAC (Political Action Committee) trip to D.C. in April Research policy issues important to PIM Brands including trade, the federal sugar program, and FDA regulations Help develop supplier-based lobbying campaigns Help draft regulatory comment letters Help expand the company’s PAC participation

Requirements

  • Rising Senior in college/university, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or related field
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Strong business acumen and analytical ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and bias for action
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Demonstrated personal and professional values
  • Ability to prepare, organize and oversee details needed to run a successful event
  • Self starter with a demonstrated ability to sometimes work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated and flexible approach to problem-solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Have access to local housing and reliable transportation
  • Be able to work during our 8 week program, which is a 20 hour week, beginning March 2,2026 through at least April 30, 2026

  • Interest in federal government and public policy
  • Knowledge of and passion for the Government Affairs business at PIM Brands
  • Strong passion for and knowledge of the Food and CPG industry
  • Leadership experience on or off campus
