Join the Power People at Edlen as an Event Services Coordinator (ESC) in Miami, FL. The ESC will be responsible for obtaining and managing all necessary information to provide temporary utility services for trade shows, conventions, and special events. This role requires working on multiple events concurrently and involves daily communication with convention center staff and Edlen electricians. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong project management and communication skills, as well as the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities. Customer service experience in hospitality or retail is a plus, as this position has a significant level of responsibility for maintaining and servicing our clients and customers. The Event Services Coordinator will work directly at the office and on-site at various convention centers, ensuring that all aspects of event management are executed smoothly. Responsibilities include answering client inquiries, booking events in the Event Management Program (EMP), creating and maintaining electronic files, processing exhibitor utility orders, and managing customer service at the exhibitor service desk. The ESC will also be involved in auditing orders, attending planning meetings, and ensuring successful installations and tear-outs on-site. This position requires reliable transportation due to varied hours and work locations, and the ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. The wage for this position ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and education.
