The Event Coordinator for Athletic External Events & Summer Camps at Liberty University is responsible for overseeing the scheduling, logistical planning, and support for various events on campus. This role involves coordinating sound support, facility setup, and additional services for academic and departmental events, ensuring adherence to safety standards while promoting professionalism and outstanding customer service.

  • Develop and cultivate relationships with both on and off-campus customers.
  • Provide support, information, and guidance in the process of scheduling and planning departmental events in Liberty University facilities.
  • Assist with scheduling all departmental & student group events all year round.
  • Scheduling, logistical planning, and special coordination for academic events and departmental events.
  • Develop policies and standards for scheduling academic events and departmental events.
  • Help develop standard operating procedures for the University Events Office.
  • Help lead and invest in teammates and student workers that are part of the University Events Office.
  • Promote an atmosphere of professionalism and outstanding customer service in accordance with the Liberty Way.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Remain abreast of all events held on campus.
  • Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU's mission.
  • Four-year college degree in business or marketing or equivalent professional work experience preferred.
  • Well-developed interpersonal communications skills.
  • Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office computer software.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
