About The Position

Summary The Event Concierge is responsible for assisting Mets Events with the execution of non-gameday events at Citi Field. This includes, but is not limited to, concerts, non-baseball sporting events, festivals, races, tradeshows, conventions, meetings, and private social events, such as weddings and Bar Mitzvahs.

Requirements

• Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have demonstrated strong guest service skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and walk lengthy distances
• Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and motivation to complete the job correctly
• Team-oriented and able to follow directions in a timely manner

Responsibilities

• Greet event guests
• Provide directions and general ballpark information
• Provide event information and itinerary and facilitate event flow
• Staff coat check
• Distribute event items
• Assist with event preparation and set-up
• Maintain accurate guest count
• Assist clients with event registration and execution
• Escort VIP clients and guests throughout the ballpark
• Other duties as assigned
