About The Position

Water's Edge Banquet Center is seeking dependable, hard-working individuals for part-time Event Porter positions (Cup Washer & Event Support). In this behind-the-scenes role, you'll help keep our events running smoothly by maintaining clean and organized spaces, supporting bartenders, and assisting with event setup and teardown. Your work will help ensure every celebration looks its best and leaves a lasting impression.

Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Nice To Haves

• Previous porter, barback, or event setup experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and restock beverage glassware throughout events.
• Assist bartenders by replenishing beverages, garnishes, ice, and other supplies while keeping bar areas clean and organized.
• Set up and break down ceremony chairs according to event layouts.
• Move tables, chairs, linens, and equipment as part of event setup and teardown.
• Support event staff with additional duties to ensure smooth operations.
