About The Position

Event Attendent: ASM Management Bakersfield immediate openings for Event Attendant positions at the Dignity Health Arena, Theater & Convention Center. The Event Attendants are responsible for cleaning and maintaining a ten thousand seat Arena and a three thousand seat Theater. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the restrooms before and during the event. Maintaining clean floors and trash cans during the event, overseeing the general cleanliness of the Dignity Health Arena, Theater and Convention Center while working. Tasks may include sweeping, mopping, trash collecting, setting chairs, restroom upkeep, green spill cleaning and being patron friendly. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Training will be provided. Previous experience preferred. SKILLS and APTITUDES: Activities occur both inside and outside the Dignity Health Arena, Theater and Convention Center; some seasonal heat. Ability to work flexible hours in addition to normal business hours as dictated by events. Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time. and perform heavy lifting of tables, chairs, stage decks, etc. Must be able to follow directions and be extremely team oriented. Required Qualifications: Excellent communication skills.Must be able to work in a team environment and interact with multiple departments.Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
