About The Position

The Event Accountant Associate role is an entry-level position focused on supporting financial functions related to project management. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or general business, or a minimum of two years related experience in an accounting or finance function.
• Knowledge of financial practices, principles, processes, and systems, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Financial analysis experience is a plus.

• Ability to assist in on-site client operations or remote meetings.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project files and cost tracking systems.
• Prepare and review client invoices according to agreements to ensure positive cash flow.
• Monitor project performance and provide analysis of project data.
• Work with account teams to develop detailed project budgets.
• Ensure compliance with internal contract policies and financial documentation requirements.
• Assist in financial reconciliation in accordance with client/vendor agreements.
• Provide updates to Event Management regarding financial aspects of projects.
• Identify and report project profitability opportunities.
