About Phoenix Behavioral Health Phoenix Behavioral Health is an outpatient behavioral health program providing structured group therapy and individualized clinical services to adults with mental health needs. Our program focuses on recovery, stability, and skill-building in a supportive and team-oriented environment. Position Summary Phoenix Behavioral Health is seeking a motivated and reliable Evening Telehealth Therapist to facilitate virtual therapy groups and provide individual clinical services via telehealth. This position is ideal for a therapist looking for supplemental income, flexible evening hours, or a second position without weekend or on-call responsibilities. The therapist will run evening telehealth groups Tuesday through Thursday, maintain a small caseload, and complete a limited number of virtual intakes each week.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
- New Jersey license: LAC, LPC, LSW, or LCSW
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic documentation
- Strong group facilitation skills
- Reliable internet connection and private workspace
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Partial Care, IOP, PHP, or outpatient group therapy settings
- Experience running skills-based or psychoeducational groups (CBT/DBT strongly preferred)
Responsibilities
- Facilitate evening telehealth group therapy sessions (Tues–Thurs from 6pm-9pm)
- Provide individual therapy to assigned clients
- Maintain a maximum caseload of 15 clients
- Complete 1–3 virtual intakes per week
- Develop and update treatment plans
- Complete progress notes and clinical documentation within required timeframes
- Participate in interdisciplinary communication with case management and psychiatry staff
- Monitor client risk, safety concerns, and clinical stability
- Maintain compliance with agency and state documentation standards
