About The Position

Evoke Wellness is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to support individuals on their recovery journey from addiction and mental health challenges. The BHT will observe patient activities, maintain a visible presence, and ensure clients are transported safely to scheduled activities. This role involves facilitating communication, building relationships, and providing a safe therapeutic environment for clients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a mental health or recovery setting preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in addiction medicine or psychiatry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe all patient activities and maintain a visible presence at the treatment center and community housing.
• Transport clients to and from appointments and meetings using the company vehicle.
• Orient new admissions to the company's rules and regulations.
• Facilitate communication with ancillary services and build positive relationships with staff and physicians.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.
• Follow Infection Control Guidelines at all times and provide a safe, therapeutic environment for staff and clients.
• Assist nursing staff with clients and provide reports on visual rounds.
• Facilitate clients' understanding of their rules and responsibilities, reporting non-compliance to the Supervisor.
• Provide empathetic support when interacting with clients and continuously learn new skills.
