About The Position

The Evening Receptionist will work from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, providing general administrative and clerical support. The role involves greeting and welcoming patients, clients, and other visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor. Responsibilities include answering telephone calls, taking messages or forwarding calls, checking visitors in, directing or escorting them to specific destinations, and informing other employees of visitors’ arrivals and cancellations. The receptionist will maintain a visitor sign-in log, handle incoming and outgoing mail, schedule appointments, maintain meeting room bookings, and keep the reception area tidy. Additionally, the receptionist must agree not to disclose residents’ protected health information and promptly report any suspected or known violations to the Administrator, maintaining confidentiality of all resident care information.

Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, clerical functions, and multiline phone system.
