St. Paul's seeks a registered nurse in our health center. This is an academic-year, non-exempt staff position working the e vening shift (2:15 pm to 11:15 pm) full time (full time is equivalent to 3 shifts one week, 4 shifts one week, per 2 week pay period), with required attendance of a 2 hour staff meeting monthly. The registered nurse provides quality nursing care to St. Paul's School students in both an outpatient and inpatient setting. As a Registered Nurse at St. Paul’s School, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional, student-centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This dynamic 10 month night position offers a meaningful opportunity to support the health and well-being of students through a variety of responsibilities, including: Performing thorough physical assessments and triaging students during the shift. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including our Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Coordinator, and Counselors. Communicating effectively with parents and maintaining detailed documentation in our electronic medical record system. Assisting with pre- and post-operative care, and the implementation of nursing protocols and treatment plans. Administering medications and vaccines, collecting diagnostic specimens, and promoting preventive health through education. Ensuring the safe handling, administration, and storage of all medications. Administrative duties including daily medication reconciliation, scanning, and restocking.
