With over 22,000 sq. ft. of event space, it’s a premier destination for retreats, conferences, and celebrations. #PGH-SKL What you will have an opportunity to do: Sort all daily linen, inspecting for stains, damage, or wear Loading and unloading all dryers in the proper manner, to include the cleaning of lint traps in dryers when needed. Operating the linen spreader, towel/linen folder and ironer in the proper manner. Fold laundry neatly and according to standards. Operating a commercial washer/extractor in a relief capacity as directed. Assist with inventory counts and linen tracking as needed. Supportive Functions Turning off equipment prior to leaving at the end of each shift. Reporting any problems or malfunctions of laundry equipment to a supervisor. Utilizing disposable gloves and the necessary protection while working in the laundry area. Assisting other laundry personnel with their job assignments when necessary. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Assist pick-up with loading of closets when necessary. Other duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements

Availability to work evening shifts (4:00 PM–12:00 AM) including weekends, and holidays
Must be over 18 years of age
Ability to work on feet for most of the shift
Knowledge of fabric care and stain removal techniques preferred not required
Must have strong attention to detail
Housekeeping experience preferred but not required
Must have time management skills and ability to maintain a high level of output without sacrificing quality.
