About The Position

The Evening Janitor plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at the Harley Davidson facility. This position ensures that all designated areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized during evening hours, minimizing disruption to daily operations. The janitor will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks, waste disposal, and minor maintenance duties to uphold the facility's standards of hygiene and appearance. By performing these duties diligently, the Evening Janitor contributes to the overall customer experience and supports the operational efficiency of the consumer support services team. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during non-business hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required.
• Ability to work evening shifts independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including safe handling procedures.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

• Experience working in a consumer support services or retail environment.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and protocols.
• Certification in janitorial or custodial services.
• Strong communication skills to effectively report issues and coordinate with facility management.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper to maintain a consistent level of hygiene.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the facility management promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly after use to prolong its lifespan and ensure safety.
