About The Position

The Evening College Coordinator supports the Dean of Academic Affairs and serves as the administrative representative on campus during evening hours. This position supports the efforts of the faculty, staff, and students to achieve maximum educational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Requires the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Available to work consistent evening hours and occasional day or weekend hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in educational or clinical environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the designated on-site administrator during evening hours.
  • Enforce academic policies and procedures consistently and professionally.
  • Uphold and model the College policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, faculty handbook, and college catalog.
  • Respond proactively to students exhibiting poor attendance or disengagement to support student success.
  • Offer guidance or referrals to Academic Affairs or Student Support Services as needed.
  • Address or escalate behavioral/academic disruptions in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Ensure that daily, weekly, and term-based activities are completed in a timely and organized manner.
  • Provide real-time assistance to the evening faculty (e.g., classroom access and changes, instructional materials, technological needs, and administrative support).
  • Collaborate with faculty and academic leadership to enhance and improve instructional programs, with a focus on evening scheduling and delivery.
  • Support faculty and staff in understanding and fulfilling their responsibilities.
  • Encourage and motivate faculty to engage in student feedback processes.
  • Support accreditation activities, including preparation for site visits and readiness reviews.
  • Assist with data tracking for reporting purposes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dean of Academic Affairs.
