About The Position

Evening Clothing Sorter Be the Start of Quality Benzinger’s Clothing Care is looking for a dependable Evening Sorter to join our dry cleaning production team. If you enjoy staying busy, working independently, and paying attention to detail — this could be a great fit. Schedule : ~25 to 35 hours per week Monday through Thursday – start between 3 to 4 pm; shifts will range from 5 to 7 hours based on workload. Saturday – start anytime from noon on; shift can range from 6 to 10 hours (for both Friday and Saturday sorting). Pay Range: $18 - $19/hour

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret garment care labels
• Organized and able to prioritize work to meet due dates
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to maintain steady productivity throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

• Previous production, laundry, or dry-cleaning experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Examine and sort garments by due date, color, fabric, stain type, and care label
• Separate items into shirt, dry cleaning, and wet cleaning loads
• Inspect garments for stains, imperfections, or special treatment needs
• Pretreat stains and scrub collars as needed
• Start and monitor wet cleaning machines (ensuring correct settings and detergent/starch levels)
• Unload, sort, and process wash-and-fold orders
• Maintain productivity while meeting daily deadlines
