About The Position
This is a 9 month position, Sunday through Thursday evening shift during the academic year. When classes are not in session, this position becomes a first shift position (beginning at 8:00 or 8:30am with normal university opening hours). The evening circulation specialist oversees the security and safety during the evening and weekend hours for the Howe Library. Responsibilities include supervision of student employees and public service points, assisting library users with access issues and problems, as well as enforcing library policy. The role also involves overseeing stack maintenance and coordinating projects with other library and university staff.
