About The Position

The position involves providing and supporting pharmaceutical care, which includes medication dispensing, preventing, identifying, and resolving drug-related problems, as well as promoting optimal therapeutics and medication education. The pharmacist will also participate in the performance improvement, academic programs, and clinical research activities of the department. Additionally, the role serves as a liaison to the medical and nursing staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D. degree (Doctor of Pharmacy).
• Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida or eligible for Pharmacist license in Florida within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• Less than one year of Pharmacist/intern experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products.
• Fine motor coordination and manual dexterity.
• Computer skills and accuracy in calculations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Post-graduate residency training.
• Experience and/or advanced training in specific practice area.
